How to make your home smell cozy and inviting for the holidays

Scent is our strongest of senses. It can bring up the fondest of memories and summon a sense of nostalgia in an instant. For many of us, there is no stronger connection between scent and nostalgia than during the holiday season. It is a special time in which we both create and celebrate memories with family and friends.

So how do you capture the smell of the holidays at home? Here's a quick recipe to create your own holiday potpourri at home!

Ingredients:

  • Clementines, oranges, or grapefruit
  • Ginger
  • Clove
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Cranberries

1. Slice the fruit.

2. Place all ingredients in a saucepan with 4-6 cups of water.

3. Bring to a simmer over low heat.

4. Let it simmer as long as you like, adding more water as needed.

Or, just light a HomeWorx 4-wick Holiday Spice Candle!

With notes of sweet clementine, freshly grated ginger, fragrant clove, simmering spices and the essence of fir needle, our 4-wick Holiday Spice Candle will keep your home smelling amazing all season long.
